Urban Decay Holiday 2012 Sneak Peek

The Vice Palette

I was reading an article regarding Urban Decay expanding their Naked range and of course, after the huge global success they had with the Naked Palette (original, 2010), I bet they want to keep extending the line! The word “Naked” has reached a whole new level in the beauty community which is going with the flow.

Urban Decay’s creative director, Wende Zomnir said: ““We are tapping into the success of our Naked palettes to create a Naked franchise that focuses on color, as well as a new line called Naked Skin, which is focused on complexion…”

The holiday treat is called “Vice Palette”($59) and will contain 20 new shades, together with a double-ended shadow and crease brush. The very interesting thing to mention is the fact that, as I read, there won’t be any already-seen/permanent shades in this palette! Judging by the picture there is a good amount of neutral wearable colors (which I think it’ll appeal the majority of buyers) as well as few bright shades. There’s no mention about the quantity of product  we get for each pan but it seems (and only to me) every square pan has the  same size of the Book of Shadow’s ones (0,8 gr/0.03 us-oz)…but this is just my idea.

I have a pretty decent amount of Urban Decay’s eyeshadows, their quality and texture is brilliant, they wear for long without issues, I love them indeed…so, if this palette has the same standard quality level as always, I’m sure it’ll sell a lot considering the price and the 20 new shades (not sure about the black though…).
